Our event started off with a Social Hour.  Couples arrived around 4:00 on Saturday, January 31st., and enjoyed a variety of canapés, sweet tea, beer, coke, or make your own cocktail.

Great canapés consisted of single bite quiche, poppers, mozzarella cheese bites.  Other finger foods included hot wings, shrimp cocktail, chips/dip, vegetable tray, artichoke dip, crackers/cheese, chips and salsa.

No one left hungry!

Event Planning Meeting

Following the Social Hour, everyone gathered in the Living Room and participated in a brain-storm session.

Larry kept track of all the creative ideas on a flip chart.  As each page was filled, it was removed and placed on the wall with a post-it type adhesive

Next, each member was provided a calendar page for each month of the year.  Together, the group worked out an exciting event for each month of the year.  Those events will be posted on our home page.

When the evening was over, several members agreed to provide additional information for the following:

• Ways to Volunteer and Give Back to the Community
• Provide Annual Theatrical Plays
• Provide Dates for Beachaven Wine Tasting & Jazz Feast
• Technical Assistance for a Web Chat Room and Blog
